Accounting Assistant

First Avenue (First Avenue, 7th St Entry, Turf Club, Fine Line, Fitzgerald Theater, Palace Theatre, and outside venue shows) is seeking a candidate for the accounting department that is extremely detail-oriented, technology-proficient, leads by example at all times, and provides the highest level of service to management and guests. This is a full-time hourly (non-exempt) position with regular weekly hours, Monday through Friday. Availability on nights and weekends for emergencies only. Work must be performed on-site at our downtown Minneapolis office.

Associate Operations Manager

The Associate Operations Manager reports directly to the Director of Event Operations.  The Associate Operations Manager will work and train alongside Operations Managers to learn the necessary skills to independently oversee and effectively manage event operations in support of the company’s growth goals and objectives. The Associate Operations Manager will be provided the opportunity to work at different venues located throughout Minneapolis, Saint Paul, and the surrounding cities, including the First Avenue Mainroom, 7th St. Entry, Turf Club, Fine Line, Palace Theatre, and Fitzgerald Theater. Key leadership responsibilities and management duties are outlined below and may vary during the training period to ensure the demonstration of the necessary skills and abilities to independently oversee and manage the operations for assigned events. The job is Non-exempt, On-site in Minneapolis and St. Paul; 30-40 hours per week.
