First Avenue has been throwing the Twin Cities’ best parties since 1970. When you book with us, you get the rooms, the bars, and the crew that make it happen every night: professional sound, lighting, and video, fully stocked bars, and a team that knows how to move a crowd.

The room Purple Rain made famous. Six bars, a 1,000 sq ft dance floor, a 25-foot screen, and an incredible L-Acoustics sound system.
7th St Entry
Up to 250 standing
The small room where everyone from The Replacements to Billie Eilish played early, with its own entrance off 7th Street and a full bar.
Depot Tavern
Up to 60 seated
Full-service bar and restaurant next door to the Entry. Built for happy hours and team dinners.
Fine Line
200–400 (up to 650 standing)
A Warehouse District venue in a historic 1907 building, with stage sightlines from the main floor and the balcony.
Saint Paul
Palace Theatre
Up to 1,500 (2,400 standing)
Originally a 1916 vaudeville house with bars on three levels. The floor can be set with single seats or banquet rounds, and the loge and balcony have additional seating.
Palace Pub
50–150
Next door to the Palace, a local pub with pinball, darts, and a full kitchen, with a private back room, A/V, and patio.
Turf Club
Up to 100 seated and 350 standing
A neighborhood staple since the 1940s, with a full kitchen, two bars, and the 75-capacity Clown Lounge downstairs.
The Fitzgerald Theater
1,050 fully seated
Built in 1910, St. Paul’s oldest surviving theater, with opera box seating. Perfect for keynotes, screenings, and award shows.
What We Host
Make It Yours
Our events come with in-house expertise: our production team on sound, lights, and video. From there, build it out and make it your own with hosted, cash, or mixed bars; food from our in-house kitchens or preferred caterers; backstage-style lounges; a Purple Rain photo booth; venue merch; and access to DJs, musicians, photographers, and decor partners.
