Jen’s DJ roots can be traced to her childhood in Rockford, IL, where she acquired a taste for classic rock, metal, country, and AM Gold pop. That foundation—combined with the punk, post-punk and new wave artists that were the soundtrack of her adolescence—led to a lifetime of record collecting and concert going. In 2006, Jen cofounded Hot Roxx at the Hex, a DJ night that spotlighted “the best and worst of the 70s and beyond.” Hot Roxx now exists solely as a purveyor of live music showcases and standalone good times featuring favorite artists from Fleetwood Mac to Prince.
