The Assembly at the Woman’s Club

The Assembly at the Woman’s Club of Minneapolis is located on the lake-side of Loring Park. The main entrance to the Club is 410 Oak Grove Street. Parking is available for free after 6:00 PM on West 15th and designated surface lots on Oak Grove Street.

The Woman’s Club of Minneapolis has provided a splendid retreat for outstanding women and men since 1907. Today, the Woman’s Club continues to be a vibrant community that embraces people from a variety of backgrounds. The current Clubhouse, built in 1928, has been designated by the City of Minneapolis as a Historic Treasure, and offers breathtaking views of Loring Park and downtown Minneapolis. In 2007, the Woman’s Club donated more than $100,000 to local social agencies serving women and children.

Many people discover The Woman’s Club of Minneapolis when they’re invited to a wedding reception or event in our Clubhouse, or when they attend a performance in our Theatre. Others hear about the Club from a friend, usually someone who belongs to the Club and has discovered the wealth of opportunities and amenities to be found here. Still others are interested in the Club’s work in the community—every year Club members donate hundreds of hours of volunteer time in support of the Club’s civic and charitable works. A friend, a respite, a force for good, a place for belonging. Regardless of what brought you here today, The Woman’s Club of Minneapolis welcomes you.
