Monday: The Greater Good Tour
Minneapolis based independent record label Pledge Empire Records presents “The Greater Good Tour” featuring Sti-Lo Reel, Ced Linus, $ota-Kold and SPKR FRKR. Born and raised in the 612, Sti-Lo Reel is the lyrical genius behind Pledge Empire, offering up witty punch likes with sharp delivery. Pledge Empire Records began as Ced Linus’ duo, The Pledge Empire, at Bethany Lutheran College but was transformed into a label in 2007. $ota-Kold is a collaboration of three artists, hailing from the Minnesota suburbs and Huston, dedicated to representing their roots and making waves in the Twin Cities music scene. Finally, SPKR FRKR consistently pushes the envelope with his innovative electro/house/trance/breakbeat. This is going to be the dance party of the summer!

Tuesday: Yarn | Quincy Mumford | Carolina Story
Americana triple header in the Entry! Yarn, a Grammy-nominated roots band, seeks the unique soundtrack to their lives. In September, the Brooklyn-based alt group released their latest album, Shine The Light On, featuring tracks co-written with John Oates of Hall and Oates fame. Quincy Mumford is a 21 year-old New Jersey-Based ”Band to Watch” in 2014. Optimistic, charismatic and undeniably genuine, Quincy’s sound is as “feel good” as the boy himself. Topping everything off is Carolina Story, a married music duo that writes knowing there are enough love longs in the world, evoking instead blue collar vibe with their lyrical grit and tender atmosphere.

Wednesday: Bad Suns (SOLD OUT)
Southern California rockers Christo Bowman, Gavin Bennet, Miles Morris and Ray Libby have sold out the Entry this Wednesday! Chris Bowman, frontman for the Bad Suns, was first spotted on the scene in 2006 in a band called Blackout singing about never wanting to grow up – fitting since he was just eleven. That’s right, if he was eleven in 2006, he’s only nineteen now. Their banger, “Cardiac Arrest,” recorded at Infrasonic Studios with Eric Palmquist (Wavves, Aloe Blacc, Trash Talk) proves that while they might not want to grow up, they’re playing beyond their years.

Thursday: Fly Golden Eagle
Beginning like many musical gems today, Fly Golden Eagle has its roots in solo shows with a boombox and tape-recordings. Now this psych-funk group is touring with their latest release, Swagger, but are preparing for the release of their follow-up album, Quartz. Having toured with the likes of Alabama Shakes, Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros, Dr Dog, Arctic Monkeys, Clear Plastic Masks and Chrome Pony, it’s honestly an understatement to say that Fly Golden Eagle are seasoned to the road. Don’t miss out on an incredibly danceable night in the Entry.

Friday: Glass Animals
Glass Animals prefers to keep to themselves. We don’t know much about them. We know they’re most likely from Oxford. We know that frontman David Bayley draws from his involvement in the worlds of medicine and neuroscience – both of which he has studied at the tender age of twenty-two. Only do Glass Animals emerge from the undergrowth to unveil their unique brand of synth-pop. Be sure to catch them while they’re here. They’re coming all the way from from across the pond to show Minnesota just what four friends from the UK can do.

Sunday: Frankie Teardrop EP Release
Local superstar Frankie Teardrop is dropping an EP. Backed by drummer Gunnar Kauth and bassist Jackson Woosly, frontman Jordan Bleau has adopted the all-consuming, shades-clad Frankie moniker, that’s been getting so much buzz these days. 89.3 The Current summed up their sound nicely as a “blast of high-tempo, fuzzed-out, bawling garage rock with barely intelligible vocals and a growling guitar buzz drenched in reverb.” Frankie explains himself simply as a regular Minneapolis man who picked up a guitar and started making songs that resonate with the community.
