Monday: Esmé Patterson
Sometimes you have to turn off your brain and let your body sing. That’s what Esme Patterson, the Portland-based songwriter, did on her third full-length, We Were Wild, released by Grand Jury Music on June 10, 2016. Across We Were Wild, her delicate voice, wry humor, poignant storytelling, and impassioned delivery entwine with fuzzed-out guitars, deep-in-pocket percussion, hints of roots-y country, and a swirling psychedelic hum.

Tuesday: New Madrid
New Madrid formed in the fall of 2010, and shortly after was approached by engineer/producer David Barbe, who invited them to his studio to record their first full-length album, Yardboat. It happened fast. Inspired, they finished in three days. Signing with Normaltown/New West Records, the band released their sophomore album, Sunswimmer, in 2014. A live EP, Dawn Teeth Rattling, was released in 2015. Their most recent album is titled magnetkingmagnetqueen.

Wednesday: Wild Adriatic
Wild Adriatic is a high energy, riffy power trio to rival any you’ve seen before. The band has built a strong following off of a relentless tour schedule and a powerhouse live show, making noteworthy appearances at festivals like SXSW, Bonnaro, moe.down, Gathering of the Vibes, Summer Camp, and CMJ. The band’s most recent EP release is titled Never Enough.

Thursday: Bob Log III
Bob Log III is an American, Slide Guitar, One Man Band. During performances, he plays old silvertone archtop guitars, wears a full body cannonball man suit, and a helmet wired to a telephone which allows him to devote his hands and feet to guitar and drums. The spectacle has been described as a guitar dance party, full of sweaty smiles, jumps and kicks. Touring over 150 shows a year in more than 30 countries, Log and his guitar never, ever quit.

Friday: Mark Sultan
Mark Sultan is BBQ. And BBQ is Mark Sultan is BBQ. Get it? Good. ‘BBQ’ is the one-man band format with which he has toured for years. The new album Mark Sultan is his first real one-man band LP since 2005’s Tie Your Noose on legendary Bomp! Records. Recorded in late 2014, it’s a real rock n roll exploration of the garage sounds of his youth, done live off the floor in 1-2 takes each song. The lyrics are as primitive as the music, and there are no solos (add your own!). No filler.

Saturday: Eighth Planet: The Neptunes Dance Party
Featuring All-Neptunes (aka production duo Pharrell Williams and Chad Hugo) DJ sets from DJ’s Ander Other (Doomtree), Sophia Eris (GRRRL PRTY, Lizzo), MAKR (RONiiA, To Kill A Petty Bourgeoisie, Marijuana Deathquads), and Claire de Lune (tiny deaths, The Challice).
Sunday: Guthrie Brown
Guthrie Brown is a young buck, up and coming songwriter based out of Nashville TN. His song’s paint pictures of wild western sky’s as well as colorful love stories. His songwriting is always expanding along with the sound of his band “The Family Tree”, in which there is indeed a family dynamic between Guthrie and back up singer/sister, Maddy Brown. Though the other band members, John McNally (Guitar), John Ogelby (Drums), and Will Honaker (Bass) are not blood related, the musical chemistry between the bunch is as dynamic as a family band. His most recent EP with “The Family Tree” is entitled Spirit of the Elk
