For the past 15 years First Avenue has used gel lights in the Mainroom. Six months of planning and lots of boxes of fancy new gear later, we’ve begun an overhaul of the lighting system. With this renovation we’ll be upgrading to brand new LED lights – gel lights are a thing of the past. Increasing capabilities for our Lighting Techs is huge and means we can offer performers an in-house state of the art lighting system. Bonus: The new lights will be 75% more efficient than our previous conventional lighting system, which in turn means the stage and Mainroom will be blessed with cooler temperatures.
