Yoke Lore is the folk-pop project from Los Angeles-based multi-instrumentalist, dancer, and visual artist Adrian Galvin.
Born in Katonah, NY to a highly creative and intensely spiritual family, Galvin has been immersed in music his whole life. He was a founding member of Walk The Moon, with whom he co-wrote the chart-topping indie classic “Anna Sun.” In 2016, he began performing solo as Yoke Lore, and his rise in the indie universe has been unfaltering. 2017’s RIAA platinum-certified hit single “Beige” earned hundreds of millions of streams worldwide amidst ecstatic critical applause, and was in the final episode of season two of Apple TV+’s Shrinking.
Yoke Lore’s full-length debut, Toward a Never Ending New Beginning, arrived in 2023, solidifying Galvin’s distinctive approach with thoughtful reflection and unfiltered honesty, transcending songcraft and genre into an intricately hewed vision altogether his own. 2024 saw the release of his single “The Score,” which was featured in ABC’s hit series Grey’s Anatomy.
