The XV Latvian Song and Dance Festival will showcase a rich tradition of song and folk dance performed by Latvians from North America, Europe, and other parts of the world. Vibrant dancing colors and joyous choral sounds of Latvia will flow from stages of the Ordway Center for the Performing Arts, Cathedral of Saint Paul, Xcel Energy Center, and other historical venues. For five days, Saint Paul will play host to dozens of choirs and ensembles rendering an array of classical, spiritual, folk, and rock concerts as well as folk dance groups performing traditional and contemporary choreographies, including a folk dance spectacular featuring hundreds of dancers. Aside from song and dance, an inspiring cultural adventure awaits through live theater performances, art exhibits, film screenings, and literary events. A feast for the senses, there is sure to be something for everyone.
