Though the five-piece calls Minneapolis their stomping grounds, they have found home to be wherever their craft takes them- from college campuses and bars across the Midwest to sharing the stage with artists like Mat Kearney, Betty Who, Peter Bjorn and John, Hippo Campus, Now Now, Flor, and Jesse McCartney. Whosah has won the University of Minnesota's Spring Jam Battle of the Bands, been featured on popular shows like NBC's A to Z and MTV's Snookie and JWoww and Target's back-to-school campaign.

With a dance-pop twist on Walk the Moon and The 1975, Whosah’s new release is centered around an optimistic and spunky attitude, savoring the conflict between finding purpose in the daily routine and longing for a life beyond the known. Produced with Nashville's Chase Coy (formerly of Universal Records), their sophomore EP, Work was released in March of 2016. It charted in the Top 200 of CMJ radio, garnered over 200,000 Spotify streams and resulted in regional mainstream radio play along with increased opportunities for the band as both the headlining act at college performance halls from MI to PA and support for Bleachers, MUNA, and Mutemath at Go 96.3's GoFest 2017.

In between these live shows over the past year, the band has been writing its first full length record, getting back to their regional roots at Humans Win! Recording Studio in Minneapolis, MN. The single "Make A Move" was released on July 21 in anticipation for Fall travel dates and the to-be-titled LP. The record will continue to hone the band's emphasis on synth-pop feel presented by a live rock band not afraid to let loose alongside every music enthusiast they meet.
