White Boyfriend

White Boyfriend is a Minneapolis-based trio bringing you “righteously weird” (reviler.org) pop songs about minotaurs, alternate dimensions, the NSA, and (of course) boys. Described by Mark Mallman as “Deerhoof meets The B-52’s,” White Boyfriend combines groovy bass lines with intricate drums and pretty/pretty ugly synth noises, supplemented by three-part harmonies and occasionally some hollering. You can find us in the Twin Cities’ finest dive bars and produce sections, looking extremely fly and flirting with your boyfriend.
