Featured in the Chicago Tribune, Vocalo, Chicago Reader and Timeout Chicago, Tony Trimm is an electronic producer from Chicago defined by his purist approach to production and sound. As a collector of analog synthesizers and vintage drum machines, Trimm’s music transcends ambient soundscapes with his ability to build on climatic structures- arranging more beat-centered compositions over purely experimental sounds. A native of Chicago, Trimm’s notoriety propelled as the result of his collaborative work with a variety of talents- musical, comical, and beyond. Tony Trimm began as a DJ in high school and began producing music for Serengeti, a Chicago-based underground hip-hop artist in 2006. After attending audio engineering classes, his melodies were sharpened and the art of his audial skills came to fruition. His moody and ethereal beats lent much leeway for the eccentric and existential style of Serengeti's raps.
