Re-born in 2007 after years of failed attempts seeking his 'true-self' under another guise which yielded some fine material but inconsistent in vision and execution, 'Thee' Duke (title given by UK keyboard player-Parsley) hit his stride when he found complete solace in the works of Noel Engle (Scott Walker), and his many disciples (Bowie, Bush, Cave, Hannon etc.). Name change and musical direction firmly in grasp, he was now able to approach the art form without the need for 'compromise', and began exploring from 'untapped' resources, which led to a depth unknown to even himself.
Realizing he wasn't Weller, Springsteen or even Sir Richard (as in Cliff), he now felt comfort in his own skin, and began to present his highly unique style in a manner rarely seen since the days of 'Bowie and Bush'. And this led to support slots for acts such as 'The Long Blondes', 'Everybody was in the French Resistance...now'!, and 'Theoretical Girl', as well as great support from highly regarded acts such as 'Art Brut', 'The Pipette's' and 'Camera Obscura'. "My songs are written for those who walk amongst the shadows fearing not truth but deception". The story continues...
