The Resolution is Chicago's newest Rock/Pop group that stemmed from the band Division One (Opened for bands such as Hollywood Ending, The After Party, Sandlot Heroes, Rival Summers, Love Out Loud...). Brian Moroney (Lead Vocals/Guitar) and Trevor Utz (Lead Vocals/Guitar) started The Resolution in May of 2013, after the conclusion of Division One. Patrick Mitchell (Bass/Vocals) and Robby Kulik (Drums) were added to the lineup after showing great musicianship and stage presence.
From catchy beats to sing-along type choruses. The Resolution brings everything needed for a good song. The Resolution will grab your attention with their harmonies and diverse vocal styles coming from their three strong singers. The Resolution takes advantage of the wide range of vocal talents from singing to rapping. The Resolution just released their debut 6 song EP Hometown Heroes in June of 2014. The band worked with Michael Govaere (ex- every avenue) on the production of this album with some mixing credits going to Zack Odom and Kenneth Mount. They are now focusing on writing and touring.
