With roots all over the Midwest, the suburbs of the Twin Cities became an unlikely crossroads for this rambunctious crew. Held down by the drumming of their longest-standing member, Shannon Drymalski, their newest lineup consists of the dynamic duo of guitars and vocals that is Lincoln Saxton and Duncan MJ, which is found incomplete without the tasteful additions of glue guy, Joey Connely.
Gearing up to release the last two installments in a trio of EPs in 2021, the band has created a new sound for themselves grounded in the grunge footsteps of former members. The Missing Letters, or simply TML, create harmonious and nostalgic emo/punk melodies that are heavily driven by coarse Seattle grunge rhythms. Each of the members’ unique articulation of their instruments allows them to create massive genre-bending soundscapes.
Preferring to work the old fashioned way, TML has seen the country out of the window of a rusty yellow van and have played alongside genre giants; most notably Soundgarden, Modest Mouse, Bon Jovi, Cage the Elephant, Adelitas Way, Soul Asylum, The Tubes, Pearl Jam, and Neil Young. Eager to bring sonic sweetness to the masses once more, this band is one you definitely want to keep your eye on.
