In 2023 The High Kings celebrated 15 years together by releasing 15 brand new tracks to their fans, which was followed by the release of their eighth Studio Album, The Road Not Taken.
Since its release in June 2023, The Road Not Taken album has achieved over 14 million streams. It has reached the number one position for independent albums in Ireland, number one in Folk, number two across all genres, and number two in singer-songwriter in the USA. Additionally, it has topped charts as the number one bestseller on Amazon Germany and number one on iTunes in Germany, Belgium, and the Netherlands, along with a selection of top-five chart positions worldwide.
Standout hits such as "Chasing Rainbows," "The Streets of Kinsale," "Connemara Bay," and the poignant famine track "1845" continue to garner thousands of streams weekly.
In addition to their studio album, The High Kings have shattered records in the streaming world and 18-25YO demographic in 2023.
