The Dirt Road Ramblers

The Dirt Road Ramblers has roots in the soil of America and a wayfaring spirit recognizable in the narrative pilgrimages – from the Blue Ridge Mountains to Nashville, Tennessee to roads unnamed and unknown – undertaken in their music. With members reared in northern Minnesota and central Florida, the DRR uses Minneapolis, Minn., as its current hitching post. With two years of collaboration under its belt, the band showcases songs with traditional American roots sounds, influenced by the likes of hard work, whiskey, and women. Their first album, For Safekeepin’, released in September 2011, comprised of 11 original songs arranged over the course of the last two years, demonstrates the band’s commitment to carrying on the tradition of American songwriting.
