Over the past three years, The Color Pharmacy has toured all over the country, including performances at South By Southwest and Twitter/Windows Phone Blogger Party, and has appeared with popular recording artists like Tom Morello's Street Sweeper Social Club, Mason Jennings, Peter Himmelman Bob Schneider, Ben Kweller and Adele. In 2010/2011 the band played over two hundred shows and released a genre-bending full length album (Texatonka). In 2012, they hope to top 100 shows for the third straight year, as well as get into the studio this summer to begin work on another full length album.

In 2006 Jake Dilley released his third proper studio album: Jake Dilley and the Color Pharmacy. A Senior Studio Art Honors Project that was part concept album, part abstract video, and part performance piece, JD and The COLORx is designed to sync up perfectly with the 1971 film, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. After moving to Minneapolis in 2006 he started work on his second “alternate soundtrack/video art project,” which was finished in late 2007: creating original music and video to accompany the 1957 French fillm, The Red Balloon.
