The After Party

With songs that instantly catch listeners' ears, and a sound that combines the best of the boy band era with modern day pop, it's no surprise that The After Party is quickly becoming a favorite for music lovers across America. Though the group formed just over a year ago, this Kansas City, KS quartet has already begun to make an impact in the underground music scene.

In November of 2009, the group released their debut EP All The Wrong Places, produced by Kevin Gates (Nevershoutnever, Romance On A Rocketship, The Ready Set). These six songs, along with facetime on MTV's Teen Cribs, instantly brought attention to the band and allowed them to begin touring nationally. Though the boys were fresh out of high school, their charisma and professionalism on and off stage gained the band respect and a dedicated following, opening opportunities such as a featured performance at the Texas State Fair, an acoustic tour sponsored by Hot Topic, and support performances with acts like Cartel, Allstar Weekend, the GS Boyz, and Runner Runner. The After Party recorded their sophomore EP with producers Zack Odom and Kenneth Mount (All Time Low, Mayday Parade, Cartel) which was released April 4, 2011. By listening to tracks like "Can't Stop" and "Secret Lover" it is evident that the group has graduated from playing adolescent pop rock songs into writing Top 40 hits, ready to take over radio and clubs alike. This new age boy band is going to change the scene, one song at a time.
