Texas Toast

Psychedelic cowboy songs featuring touring musicians who have all made their home in beautiful Winona, MN. Formed in April of 2021, It became evident quickly that this "pandemic band" was going to have to play some shows and record some tunes. In July of 2021, gigging began with motivation to get in the studio, and soon after Texas Toast released the first batch of singles in the spring, summer, and fall of 2022. The band has since captivated audiences with sets at Boats and Bluegrass festival the past 3 years, Blue Ox Music festival, People Fest and Midwest Music Fest. Something special always happens when the band takes the stage together. In February 2023, the band hit Pachyderm Studios with Producer Chad Staehly (HighHawks/Hard Working Americans) and released a second EP on May 16, 2023 titled Big River Killer. The band currently testing and exploring new original tunes for our 2024 recording session. What started as a country band turned into an exploration into music combined with all of our various influences including and not limited to Folk, R&B, Psychedelic Jam, Folk, Bluegrass and Pop/Dance while remaining in tune with the aspects of classic country music. Texas Toast features original music combined with covers of our influences.
