Tamara “Tee” Moore was born & raised in North Minneapolis, Minnesota where she was able to establish herself in a entertainment industry opposite from music. Tamara was introduced to the game of basketball at the tender age of 10, while perfecting her craft she became one of the most decorated Minnesota High School players at Minneapolis North High School. Tamara was a 4-year starter for the Polars where she was able to help lead the North High Polars to an Undefeated 29-0 State Championship Season, also setting school records in Points, Assists, Steals and Rebounds. While enjoying a stellar high school career, become the First African-American Miss Basketball in Minnesota Tamara was recruited by the nations Top Division 1 Colleges as the Nations #1 Small Forward & Nike All-American Top 20 player (1998), She accepted a Full Scholarship to the University of Wisconsin. Tamara was a 4-year Starter setting All-Time records in Steals & Assist and Winning a WNIT National Championship (Named MVP). Tamara was an African-American Studies Major & Teaching. Following in the footsteps of her High School Teacher & Mentor, KMOJ Public Affairs Host Mr. Maqmoud El Kati. Tamara was drafted in WNBA on April 19th, 2002 to the Miami Sol, in which her career spanned 6 Seasons with teams including (Minnesota Lynx, Detroit Shock, NY Liberty, Phoenix Suns, LA Sparks, & Houston Comets) & 6 Seasons International in (France, Israel, Germany, & Belgium). She is Fluent in French & Herbrew. Tamara always had the desire to be in media entertainment she is now able to fulfil that dream in radio when she joined KMOJ’s Family in June of 2009. She is enjoying entertaining the community & reaching a mass of people who can relate & appreciate. Tamara enjoys listening to music, shopping, spending time with family & friends, movies, restaurants, college sports, poetry, social network sites and giving back to her community. She is excited for the future & Is ready to see with this experiences takes her off the court.
