TEAM DRESCH ARE BACK. With a new fucking record. Thirty years after their last full-length release, Team Dresch return with Furthermore (2026), a record that sounds less like a reunion and more like a band with thirty years of living, loving, grieving, surviving, and paying attention suddenly plugging back in.
These songs are huge. Built from soaring guitars, thunderous rhythms, unforgettable vocal melodies, and the kind of emotional honesty that has always defined Team Dresch, Furthermore carries grief, joy, rage, humor, transformation, resistance, and hard-won wisdom in equal measure. The result is dynamic, unpredictable, deeply human music that feels every bit as urgent as the band's earliest work.
The songs themselves are entirely new, but they pulse with the same spirit that made Team Dresch one of queer punk's most vital voices. From the intergenerational refuge of "One Song" to the defiant resistance of "Growing Underground," from the grief-stricken beauty of "Still Your Room" to the transformative wonder of "I've Really Become Some Thing," Furthermore is a record about what happens after survival.
Not a nostalgia trip. Not a victory lap. A living, breathing Team Dresch record made by people who still have something to say.
Team Dresch are a punk/ Queercore band who formed in the 1990s and made a significant impression on that movement, as well as on the independent music scene. Donna Dresch, founder of the band, had been involved in the queercore scene in the late 1980s and early '90s as creator of her own fanzine ''Chainsaw'' and, in addition to contributing to other zines such as ''Outpunk'' and ''J.D.s'', she was featured on the cover of issue five of ''Homocore'' and appeared in the girl-gang film The Yo-Yo Gang by G.B. Jones.
