Led by the sultry-voiced Tara Fox, “If I Want To” draws comparisons to Mazzy Star with its cyclical riffs and bold hook, which, despite its somewhat jarring final minute, climaxes in a final, sublime instrumental burst that had me cranking up the speakers.
