Starthirl is a Minneapolis-based DJ whose unique style catapulted them into the underground scene almost immediately after releasing their first mix. They possess a style all their own that combines high energy and tempo with hypnotic, unexpected swells of emotion throughout sets. Their passion for music and dance emerged at a very young age, making their transition into this practice a natural inclination, transforming the skills already ingrained into them to true expression and bliss. Starthirl’s love for dark techno, hard-groove, hard-tech, and especially hardstyle is undeniable, and anything fast, drummy, or eclectic is their specialty. They are currently a part of a local collective called Body High, while also pursuing their own varied and exciting career developing with shows around the Twin Cities. In each set, they aim to get your body moving, your heart pumping, and your feet moving on the floor, wherever that may be.
