Wilburn "Squidly" Cole aka The Singing Drummer is the son of Ska legend, Strangejah Cole & Nephew of Mighty Tabby Diamond both world renowned Reggae musicians and producers hailing from the Trenchtown section of Kingston, Jamaica.
From the age of 15, Squidly has recorded and toured the world with many Reggae icons including Earl Chinna Smith, Rachie Mclean, Sticky Thompson, Sidney Wolf, Ansel Collins, Harold Buttler, Jimmy Cliff, Ziggy Marley and the Melody Makers, Mutabaruka, Mykal Rose, Damian Marley, Sizzla, Stephen Marley, Richie Spice, Julian Marley, Don Carlos, Charlie Chaplin, and Natty King.
With his debut album BABYLON DAYS in 2008, Squidly Cole made history as an international Grammy award winning drummer that could take the front stage with ease and handle the mic. He returned with his second album BLOOD LINE, released in October 2010, featuring some high grade guest artists - Ska & Rocksteady legend Strangejah Cole, Donald "Tabby Diamond" Shaw, lead singer of the super harmony trio, The Mighty Diamonds (his uncle), and Sizzla Kalonji.
