Natural born dancer-turned-DJ, Simone started her DJ career at WMCN, Macalester College Radio in 2003. She knew she was in love when she first dropped the needle on a record! What better way to spread the DANCE by providing the beats for many to share?! After graduating from college, she moved to Brooklyn, NY where she explored quickly learned that her passion for music was IT!
Now, back from her travels and explorations, she's back in her hometown to ground herself, re-connect her roots and share what she has discovered. Previous resident DJ of Conga Latin Bistro, she currently is known to frequent various clubs, bars and dance parties near you. Her sounds can be heard at Twin Cities clubs such as Honey, The Kitty Cat Club, The Fine Line Music Cafe, The Ice House, 7th St Entry and Club Jaeger. Simone has guest DJed funky and fresh parties such as Soul Friday, The Face Forward Stage at Project Earth, Toki Wright's CD Release Party, The Short Circuit Tour Party, iSelf Divine's CD Release Party, Soul Force at Honey and more!
