Minneapolis-based singer-songwriter Silence Marsh (she/they) has been surrounded by artists and writing music of her own for as long as she can remember. After the pandemic was declared in 2020, Silence began recording her first EP entitled Probably, a collection of six tender songs recorded at home. Released on June 4, 2021, Probably incorporates raw indie rock instrumentation with soft falsetto harmonies held down by a deep, bass-heavy production style. Since the release of Probably, Silence has spent this past year gigging in the twin cities at venues such as Amsterdam Bar & Hall and the Terminal Bar. She is accompanied on stage by a full band of dear friends who are currently in the process of recording their second EP to be released in 2023.
