Showtime, a south Minneapolis based MC, started writing poetry at a young age and transformed his gift into songwriting not long after. His style was compared to hip hop giants such as Nas and Talib Kweli. He started performing around the city, gaining respect as a lyrical MC. With such an eclectic style, he was able to work with artists across a broad spectrum of genres, including Rock, Blues, R&B, Pop, and of course, Hip Hop. He's performed at The Imperial Room, Barfly, Arnelia's, The Poodle Club, The Red Sea and several private events over the years.
