SHORT STOP

With the plethora of rappers vying to be the next Snoop Dogg, Ludacris, or Eminem it can be very hard to stand out. Shortstop (born Lamarc Miles Saunders) took the smart route and rapped about things he knew not wanting to fit into the mold of the mainstream “rapper”. While some of California's OG Lyricists have been hesitant to give their cosign to the rising crop of local MCs, Shortstop has been given the blessings of West Coast heavyweights Kurupt, E40, C Bo "The Mobfather", and the West Coast's Doggfather Snoop Dogg.

The first artist signed off hip hop mogul Big U’s Uneek Music, Shortstop made himself notable by becoming a prolific lyricist, channeling his street influences and family hardships into a style matched by no other. Shortstop has performed on the stages of some of the most notable venues in the country, opening shows for Bones, Thugs & Harmony, Kurupt, Ludacris, Snoop Dogg, and most recently on "The Smokers Club Tour" with Method Man and Curren$y, plus many more. As he climbs the ranks of success mixing his versatile sound and lyrics in with artists such as Akon, Kelly Rowland, the Slauson Boyz, Pooh Bear, Snoop Dogg, and forthcoming singles with E40, Kendrick Lamar, Meek Mill, amongst others.
