Selah Cheyenne Jacoway, also known as Selah C is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, and political activist, Born in Decatur Georgia. Living in Georgia Selah was introduced to music at a young age. Exposed to Hip-Hop, Neo Soul, and R&B from her musically talented father Randy Jaylee Jacoway, and mother Katrina Nichole Cash, Selah began to rap at three years old. In 2009 Selah Moved to Minnesota at the age of 7 and lived there until 8 years old.
Selah Jacoway had eager parents who strived to expose her to new arts. By the age of 10, Selah was performing in church, singing in the choir, and writing music. At 10 years old Selah recorded her first single called Don’t Bully, to promote anti-bullying in schools.
Throughout Selah's career, she has shared the stage with some of the most talented artists in Minnesota including Sheila E. and Mint Condition. In addition, Selah C has worked beside Grammy award-winning producer Andre Fischer as a youth music mentor for his after school program Mobile Jazz and multi-talented international artist Maria Isa.
In 2022 Selah C. released her debut album MIND BODY SOUL, and launched a clothing apparel line called Authentikally Me. She continues to make her mark as a conscious hip-hop artist, activist, and businesswoman.
