Seddy Hendrinx

Making waves with his super-fast rhymes and street soulful music, Seddy Hendrinx brings every emotion to his hard-hitting tales from the streets. Blending trap-styled rapping with clever samples and smooth vocals, he is well known for his thoughtful introspection on tracks like ‘Safe’ and ‘Fell in Love’ and broke into the mainstream with ‘Lowkey’, his slick 2019 single with an addictive throwback R&B beat. Hendrinx recently bagged a rare feature from Highbridge’s A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, and the rising star from Florida recently dropped his highly acclaimed 7-track project Sayless, which also features the likes of Gunna, Jack Harlow and G Herbo.

Hailing from Duvale County, Florida, Hendrinx went through hardships including racism and homelessness growing up in Jacksonville. By the age of 15 he admitted he had become “ a full-blown juvenile delinquent”, but one event would change his life forever. In 2016, Hendrinx witnessed the murder of his best friend, and began rapping as a vow to stand up for his friend. After posting videos of his raps online, word of his incredible talent soon spread and Hendrinx rapidly expanded his local audience. His unofficial remix of ‘Remember’ by Bryson Tiller blew up on Soundcloud, and in 2017 he dropped The Roots mixtap followed by the Just Cause EP and 2018’s Death B4 Dishonor: Loyalty Over Everything.

2019 saw Hendrinx crash into the mainstream with the laidback, retro vibe ‘Lowkey’, with the official music video racking up over 10 million YouTube views. Hendrinx followed with more hits at the start of the new decade including ‘Growin’ and ‘Need You’, and the release of Sayless early in 2021 is just the beginning of what we’ll see from Hendrinx in the coming year.
