Sean McPherson (City Cast)

Sean McPherson is the Afternoon Host and Music Director at Jazz88. He was previously a full-time host on The Current and Purple Current. McPherson is the co-founder and bassist with Heiruspecs, a spectacular live hip-hop band with a national touring history. Sean served as Dessa’s bassist from 2009-2014. No stranger to college, Sean graduated from the University of Minnesota in 2007 with an Individualized Degree in Music, African-American Studies, and Cultural Studies. The same year he graduated college McPherson co-founded Trivia Mafia, now the largest trivia company in the Upper Midwest. Sean lives in St. Paul with his wife, children and dogs.
