Sean McPherson (City Cast)

Sean McPherson is the host of City Cast Twin Cities. He was previously the afternoon host and music director at Jazz88. McPherson is the co-founder and bassist of Heiruspecs, a spectacular live hip-hop band with a national touring history. Sean served as Dessa’s bassist from 2009-2014. No stranger to college, Sean graduated from the University of Minnesota in 2007 with an Individualized Degree in Music, African-American Studies, and Cultural Studies. The same year he graduated college, McPherson co-founded Trivia Mafia, now the largest trivia company in the Upper Midwest. Sean lives in St. Paul with his wife, children, and dogs.
