Everyone on the MPLS funk scene knew Scotty. They still do. More than a funky character at MF, he was a resident MF MC and was a featured dancer in Purple Rain as well as a background player in multiple PR scenes. Scotty got invited back by Paisley Park for Prince's Graffiti Bridge movie in which he was cast as George Clinton's nightclub bouncer. And to this day we still don't know how many of those 23 positions in a one-night stand he achieved as a dancer in Prince's steamy video for Gett Off.
