SASHA B. WARE (Cassette & Vinyl DJ Set)

Sasha B. Ware is the DJ handle of multi-disciplinary artist/promoter/hustler/party girl Sasha T. Todryk. With an amount of energy that borders on the absurd, Sasha has been intimately involved in the independent music and art world since the tender age of 16 - wether as label head (MJ MJ Records), electronic musician (Sasha Conda), organizer of massive collaborative music & art festivals (FMLY Fest), booking agent, manager, writer, etc, etc, etc.

After spending most of his twenties on tour and having been involved in organizing literally thousands of independent events around the world she settled down in Minneapolis. They picked up DJ’ing and quickly found her home in the Minneapolis underground; spinning at parties like Communion, Dark Energy, Daddy, Black Mass, House Proud, as well as several of their own monthlies - most notably Cassette (the longest running and most top notch tape only DJ night in the world).

Informed by her years as a performer and curator in the experimental music world Sasha is an eclectic selector with an infectious stage presence. Never tied down to genre, expect her to keep the energy high and dance floor shifting through classic and experimental house, funk, disco, peak-hour techno, noise, pop, industrial and way-out-of-left-field deep cuts.
