Sammie Lee Bush; professionally known as “Sammie” was born on March 1, 1987, in Boynton Beach, Florida. With his roots firmly planted in this sunny coastal city, Sammie's musical journey began to take shape early on. Growing up surrounded by the vibrant culture and diverse sounds of Florida, he developed a deep appreciation for music from an early age. This rich upbringing, combined with his undeniable talent and passion, has allowed Sammie to carve out a unique niche in the R&B industry. From his heartfelt lyrics to his smooth vocal delivery, Sammie's music is a true reflection of his upbringing and the vibrant energy of his hometown. As he continues to captivate listeners with his soulful melodies, Sammie remains grounded in his roots, constantly drawing inspiration from the place that shaped him into the artist he is today.

Sammie's early musical journey began when he signed a record deal with Dallas Austin's Rowdy Records at the age of 12. His debut single, "I Like It," became a major hit and established him as a promising R&B artist.
