I've been doing music for about 8 years now and taking it seriously for about 6. Started out doing covers on the piano, then formed a band with friends in high school and called it Ritt Momney. We recorded and released a couple songs like "Young Adult." They all left to go on Mormon missions or college, and I kept doing solo stuff and got really into writing/production. I decided to release the single Something, in General under Ritt Momney, and eventually a full album called Her and All of My Friends in 2019. During the pandemic, I did a cover of Corinne Bailey Rae's "Put Your Records On," it kind of blew up on TikTok and I ended up signing with Columbia/Disruptor for a one-album deal. That album turned out to be Sunny Boy, which came out in 2021.
I've spent some time in LA and NY but moved back to SLC and will probably be here for a while or forever. I'm hanging with my gf Lindsay and my dog Perry and playing basketball, and also working on new music. I'm really excited about the next album. It's going to be really good I think.
