Riotgrrrldarko is a 23-year-old self-announced Lady Rager. Born and raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Darko pushes boundaries bringing a fresh grunge and gritty sound with explicit lyrics to match. The artist proclaims the genre as Grime Core music; often consisting of frenetic trap drums and 808s combine with a hypnotic synth stab to create most instrumentals. Clever verses resolve undeniably catchy hooks, putting a whole new spin on the classic '90s “Riot Grrrl” movement. Riotgrrrldarko proves that women don’t always have to be perfect and poised to get the attention they deserve.
