Rianna Marie

Raised among the back roads and ever-changing seasons of Wisconsin, Rianna Marie started writing in the quiet rhythms of rural life. Stories allowed her to step outside her hometown and explore greater meanings around her. Now after a few years in Nashville, she’s back in the Madison area writing about how our stories intertwine and shape the way we move through the world together. She writes often of ephemerality and the fickle nature of moments, relationships, and time. Rianna’s honest writing draws inspiration from women like Kate Wolf, Joni Mitchell, and Gillian Welch. She’s happily shared the stage throughout the midwest with artists such as The Local Honey’s, Ross Thorn, The Spine Stealers, and more.
