Rattle and Hum (A U2 Tribute Band)

Founded 16 years ago in St. Paul, MN, by singer Chris Cahoon (“Bono”), and featuring guitarist Tim Ward (“The Edge”), bassist Ed Butler (“Adam Clayton”) and drummer Jamie Birkett (“Larry Mullen, Jr.”), Rattle and Hum is a band with a passion for the band that has defined passion for four decades and counting…U2.

With almost six decades of collective music and performance experience, the members of Rattle and Hum are highly experienced musicians who strive to offer the most engaging and inspiring U2 experience possible. Rattle and Hum’s repertoire includes the majority of U2’s catalog, from their greatest hits such as One, Beautiful Day, and Pride in the Name of Love, to deep cuts from U2’s earliest albums, longstanding fan favorites and rarities.

Rattle And Hum has performed at the top music venues and festivals in and around the Twin Cities area, including The Fine Line Music Cafe, Kieran’s Irish Pub, Route 47, The Lookout, The Minnesota Music Café, Brit’s Pub, O’Gara’s Garage, Midway Stadium (St. Paul Saints), The Medina Entertainment Center, Halfway Jam, and The Twin Cities Marathon. The band has shared the stage with The Bad Animals, Tumblin’ Dice, A Hard Day’s Night, and Zed Leppelin. Rattle and Hum also performed at Universal Music’s CD release party for The Joshua Tree 20th Anniversary for Geffen Records, and was the first band to play at the Great Clips IMAX Theater for the release of U2-3D.

While based in the Twin Cities, Rattle and Hum plays across Minnesota and is also available for national and international concerts. If you'd like to raise a pint, sing along, and maybe shed a tear before the night is over, Rattle and Hum would gladly provide the soundtrack. Slainte!
