Rashad502 (Rashad Edmonds) is a Bahamian-born artist based out of Los Angeles. Raised in Minnesota, 502 began singing in his church choir, which he sources as the spark for his passion for the art of music.

502 has a vast array of talent, but his forte lies in cultivating party anthems, and he’s even begun ghostwriting for other artists this early in his career. Freshly out of high school, he’s already dipped his hands into the makings of a promising career, having performed at prestigious festivals such SXSW, Twin Cities Jazz Fest, and more, and has even created his own production company and a fashion line called, NewAgeKnew.

He gets frequent invites to open for national touring acts in both Los Angeles and Minneapolis where he currently resides between the two cities.

A self-proclaimed “jack of all trades,” Mr. 502 doesn’t believe in days off and pursues a multitude of business investments such as a fashion designer, fragrance designer, etc. While his curiosity leads him to many paths, Rashad reigns supreme in the element of music crafting and is sure to have a bright future in store on the horizon.

One of Rashad’s favorite quotes is “ Life is like a movie it all depends on what movie you walk into” meaning if you want a good movie you have to make good choices pertaining to your life.
