Peruvian artist, singer and songwriter Puff has had a strong passion for music since she could talk and hold up an instrument. Her sound has evolved over time and her melodies can take you on journeys all the way from dreamy love adventures to edgy and powerful stories. Her sound inspiration comes from artists like Jhene Aiko, Kehlani, and Bryson Tiller. Puff's intention with her music is to spread healing and relatable messages, as well as convey a strong feminine energy to other women in hopes to help others stand in their power. Puff started writing and recording her own music in the winter of 2019, in the basement of her current producer Basey's house. Ever since that winter, she has succeeded in elevating her sound and stage performance.
Puff started her music journey as a small child and has been competing and performing since a very young age. Her passion for music was inspired and introduced to her by her dad who plays a variety of latin instruments. She started off playing violin at age 4, from there she learned piano, guitar, and other instruments as well as expanding her vocal capabilities. As time evolved, Puff started developing a passion for singing and songwriting, competing in solo voice competitions, taking part in a youth chorale, and being picked for solo parts in these singing groups. As she got older, she grew more love for writing her own music and released her first album, Conversations with Myself, in 2020. To this day, she is releasing and working on expanding her sound and releasing more projects. If it's one thing Puff wants from her listeners, it's to listen with intent and take in the message behind the melodies and lyrics of her songs.
“To all artists: find peace within your art. Connecting with my audience on a deeper and emotional level is important to me. My purposes are to evoke feelings, inspire others and create a sense of unity”
