From the frozen tundra of Minneapolis and St. Paul, Pill Cutter harkens back to the drop D tuning style of '90s sounds of grunge and fuzz, and the swoops of melancholy shoegaze. The riffs, hooks, and beats will keep you warm, while the swirling snow of guitar effects and pedals, form a blurry wonderland. Dan comes from more of a metal band history (Blood Folke, Lust for the Devil), but wanted to play the music from when he and Arzu (Pink Mink, Selby Tigers) were in high school, Adam (Charles De Gaulle, Rabbit Holes) was in middle school and Mat was in kindergarten. He wooed the band to join him with a meal of pancakes and egg sandwiches, and a small blood ritual. Having just got done recording with master engineer Jacques Wait, at The Terrarium, a record or 8 track will be out this Summer.
