Petty Treason

Originally from Des Moines, Iowa, Petty Treason is proud to call the Twin Titties home. For the past 5 years, Petty has been producing and performing burlesque locally as well as performing in theatrical productions. When she isn't running around like a chicken with her head cut off, she is probably cuddling her two dogs Mike and Natalie and eating spinach dip.

In 2016, Petty graduated from Simpson College with a degree in theatre. That same year, Petty began her burlesque journey. With nothing but a backpack full of stripper clothes and some student loan debt, Petty packed up and moved to the Minneapolis area to pursue a life in performance. So far, so good!

Petty infiltrated the burlesque scene by working as a pick up artist and performer. Now, Petty is producer, teacher as well as a performer. Petty created and produces "Whose Bra is it Anyways?" the only burlesque improv show based in Minneapolis. Petty also produces “Nudie Nubies Twin Cities” with burlesque stars RedBone and Foxy Tann. Petty is a co-producer of "Capital City Cabaret'' in Saint Paul, Minnesota with Maranda Wright and Sparkles DuJour. Most recently, she has joined Sovereign Tease Productions with international burlesque star Sweetpea, international hottie Butch Charming, and the best chest in the midwest, Deeva Rose. Petty has produced many of her shows virtually in 2020 and 2021 with great success.

Petty is also on the teaching staff at the Rose Academy of Burlesque, a burlesque and movement studio based in the Uptown area of Minneapolis. The Rose Academy was created by Minneapolis’s Deeva Rose. As a burlesque performer, former competitive figure skater, and actor for over 20 years, Petty brings a strong knowledge of stage presence and theatrical performance to the team.
