Paul Thompson

Paul Thompson is a hip-hop artist from Minneapolis, Minnesota currently residing in Vancouver, British Columbia. In addition to being one of the three co-founders of dispossessed.Records, Paul Thompson is a screen-writer and student at the distinguished Vancouver Film School, Canada’s premier post-secondary entertainment arts institution. Paul performs regularly both in Vancouver and in Minneapolis with fellow dispossessed artists Z and John Daniel. Besides the d.R crew, Paul lists Atmosphere, Brother Ali, Doomtree (especially Dessa), and Guante as a few of his favorite artists and greatest inspirations. That said, Paul is known for listening to a very wide variety of music and even names Amy Winehouses’s “Frank” as one of his favorite albums of all-time. Paul currently partners with Z, John Daniel and Yaakov to form dispossessed collaborations Blackbird, Probable Cause, and Current World Order respectively.
