OK Go's accomplishments are broad and extensive, ranging well beyond their Grammy win, the million-plus records they have sold, or the billions of views for their groundbreaking videos. They have penned Op-Eds for The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, and Rolling Stone. They have testified before the US Congress on Net Neutrality and played a concert for President Obama’s birthday. OK Go has collaborated with everyone from Google to The Muppets to NASA’s Jet Propulsion Lab. They have even worked with Microsoft biochemists to encode their music into strands of DNA. The band has earned 21 Cannes Lions, 3 VMA's, two Webby's, and The Smithsonian Ingenuity Award. The four members of OK Go (Damian Kulash, Tim Nordwind, Dan Konopka, and Andy Ross) are among Fast Company's Most Creative People in Business 2019. Most recently, the band has founded an educational non-profit, OKGoSandbox.org, which provides free resources to teachers.
Last year, Damian Kulash, lead singer and guitarist of the band, co-directed his first feature film, The Beanie Bubble, with his wife Kristin Gore, starring Zach Galifianakis, Elizabeth Banks, and Sarah Snook.
