Official Biz

Based on the West Coast and known for a dynamic sound, Official Biz is a music production group that produces and performs  with various recording artists. Founder The Rugged on bass, pianist Bunny Hearts, and drummer Chuck Hervey are the core members.

D’Wayne "The Rugged" Cousin is known for a rugged, funky vibe. As a teenager, The Rugged became one of the youngest producers signed to a record label, Total Experience. He has performed and opened for Jon B, Karen White, Gap Band, El DeBarge, Chico DeBarge, Brandy, and Ray J, Christopher Williams, and more.

The group also includes producer Janie "Bunny Hearts" Lyn. Her classical music history started at age of 5. Bunny has performed and opened for Loose Ends, Christopher Williams, Lyfe Jennings, Jesse Johnson, and more.

Official Biz Music recently co-produced with Prince and The Revolution's Brown Mark on a track, "Stressin Me Out - Remix". The group's highly praised music can be found on all major digital platforms.
