Nyteowl is Minneapolis, MN artist, producer, and DJ Jeremiah Conlon. The Nyteowl sound is personified by melodic synth heavy songs and crooning vocals. 2011 showcases a sound more inspired by late 70's and early 80's Detroit RnB, more than their electro contemporaries, taking from funk, disco, and boogie. In 2008, Nyteowl had 2 remixes chosen by Boombass and Zdar of French electronic music pioneers Cassius (EMI/Virgin/Astralwerks) from a pool of 500+ remixes for a project called the Cassius Workshop. Interviews with Nyteowl have appeared in TSUGI Magazine France for Cassius Workshop (January 2008) and in Future Music Magazine (Hot Pick) for their song "Sustain".
