Despite gearing up for the release of his debut EP, the up and coming Lo-fi/Indie-Pop artist Nolie is no stranger to the music industry. Since beginning his career making screamo music in Indiana to delving heavily into his passion for music photography and video directing, Nolie has grown into a dynamic creative. But through it all, he’s always been a songwriter that takes his craft seriously.
Working alongside artists like Slenderbodies, Bearson, and Christofi, Nolie spent the past year between Nashville and LA grinding to develop his first tangible project. His premiere single, “Come Over”, is just a taste of what Nolie has in store for us. Blending dreamy and electronic, Nolie’s pop-inspired production and relatable lyrics seamlessly convey the giddy, “need to see my crush” feeling that a lot of us get but are reluctant to admit.
Even more so, his 3D interactive, self-directed video for “Come Over” is a visual representation of this emotional state. In tandem with the track’s simplicity, the breezy GoPro footage from a drive down PCH not only showcases his multi-dimensional talent as an artist but encapsulates the theme that love can be freeing and effortless.
