Yosemite-bred Americana troubadour Noah Rinker released his 2025 EP, The Pines, via Warner Records. Restless yet reflective, heartsick yet hopeful, the six-song set explores love, loss, personal growth, and the passage of time against a soundtrack that evokes the grand natural beauty of the artist’s upbringing.
Noah released his last project in June — the Burning Daylight EP, which was dubbed “an authentic and hopeful journey through life and music” by Ones to Watch. The set debuted two new songs — the electric and hummable “99” and the gently unfurling “No Friend of Mine” alongside beloved tracks like “Ripple,” “The Bend,” “Red Bandana,” and “Wherever I Go.” The latter not only adorned the cover of Amazon’s bonfire playlist, but also held the No. 1 slot on Spotify’s Hot Country playlist, showcasing the broad draw of Noah’s magnetic folk-pop blend.
Buzzing out of the mountains of Yosemite, California, Noah initially made waves posting covers and originals on TikTok. He enraptured listeners with a stripped-down sense of soul, conveyed through shuddering acoustic guitar chords and stark lyricism punctuated by his vulnerability and powerful storytelling. This approach attracted hundreds of thousands of followers in addition to generating viral moments and north of 8.2 million likes on TikTok. He caught the attention of Warner Records in 2024, signing to the label and kicking off a new chapter.
