Night Audit (Sean Morrissey of Astronomique and The New Monarchs) is a synthwave artist and producer based in Minneapolis, MN. Night Audit draws its influence from the myriad of over-the-top action, horror, and sci-fi films of the 1980s/1990s, as well as the iconic synth scores that defined their soundtracks. With lush synths, driving beats, and infectious melodies, Night Audit's music pulls listeners into the vibrant and energetic worlds of those films.

Night Audit debuted in 2018 with their debut album, Alpha, which set the stage for their distinctive blend of retro-futuristic sounds. Their follow-up, High Score, released in 2021, marked a bold evolution in their sound. The album introduced more guitar-driven tracks alongside the signature synth melodies, further enriching the sonic landscape. It was a deeper dive into '80s/'90s pop culture, which also included a collaboration on the title track with award-winning video game composer, music producer, and recording artist Megan McDuffee.
